As both a traveller and a blogger, I feel like my list of 'must-have' gadgets is ever expanding. Every other day it seems as though cyberspace introduces a new something that I'd love to add to my toolkit. Granted, many of these gadgets have to do with photography, but isn't that what brings travelling and blogging together so seamlessly? I digress.
Here are a few things that are currently on my radar:

ReplyDeleteAh, I want a scratch off map so bad! Would be so much fun to tick off our new travels :) I want everything else too... Chelsea got me hooked on the GoPro Hero.

ReplyDeleteI will also strongly encourage the purchases of a scratch map, LR, an ONA bag and especially the wide angle lens. I've been loving it for my scenic pictures.
I also want the new iPhone, I still have the 4S and it has a cracked screen. The only other lens I have for my SLR is a zoom lens, but it's a sigma and when on safari the vehicle tends to shake a lot (which is what I bought it for). Without the image stabiliser I sometimes find that my photos come out blurry. When we're stationary though, it does the trick just fine. You're the one who put the wide-angle lens on my radar! :)

ReplyDeleteIsn't it awesome!? You can actually instagram in fish-eye, macro, wide-angle, etc.
DeleteI just want to travel more!! Right now our "fancy" Canon isn't working so well. so we're thinking of using the iPhone and maybe just buying a cheap little camera.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that one! iPhone takes really good photos, and it's more convenient than lugging around a huge SLR. In Greece I took way more photos with my phone than with my Nikon.

I love the bag too... and I saw it somewhere online for $100 the other day. Tempting.

Deleteso, the more I experiment with LR, the more I like it. you should definitely jump on that while you're still a student (right? you're still doing that crazy busy Master's program?). I would also love a new camera bag! ONA makes such pretty ones. and that scratch map looks so fun!

DeleteThe leather camera satchel, please!! My Mum has an old leather satchel (not for cameras) that has been lying in a cupboard for about 25 years and I beg her to give it to me every time I see her. Maybe I can convince her to give it to me and then find someone to make some inserts.

Olloclip is at the tippy top of my Christmas wish list :) And the scratch off map makes the perfect and affordable gift for anyone who is even remotely interested in travelling. I'm going to get it for a few of my friends this year.

ReplyDeleteAren't they awesome :) Those ones are about $60 I think, but I know you can get cheaper ones for around $10. Perfect stocking stuffer!
